XSTAFF continues to support children with heart disease
Since 2017, XSTAFF GmbH has been the main sponsor of the annual “Gala of Hearts” of the Gerald Asamoah Foundation, whose proceeds go to children with heart disease all over the world. Like many other events, the benefit gala falls victim to the restrictions of the corona lockdown this year. For us no reason to let up in our commitment. So that the foundation can continue its outstanding work of recent years. XSTAFF donates 5,000 euros.
In 2020 alone, the benefit gala, at which ex-footballer and Let’s Dance winner Hans Sarpei, Rolf Stahlhofen feat. Sons of Mannheims, ex-No Angels singer Nadja Benaissa, rapper Eko Fresh and star chefs Nelson Müller and Anthony Sarpong were guests, donations of 150,000 euros. Financial resources that will be invested, among other things, in a mobile operating room in Ghana, in which vital heart operations are carried out.
Not only for Bodo Knop, Chairman of XSTAFF GmbH, a great project that should be followed by as many charitable activities as possible. For the 44-year-old, the continuation of the financial support is therefore a matter of course: “Of course, the corona crisis with its economic and social consequences affects all of us. However, it often has catastrophic effects, especially for children and adolescents with heart disease, who are often dependent on medical help from birth. That is why we support the foundation even in these difficult times. Only if we continue to stand together as a community of solidarity will these people have any chance of surviving the crisis unscathed. “
