XSTAFF is committed to helping children with heart disease

Assuming social responsibility has been an important concern of XSTAFF GmbH for many years. We therefore support social projects worldwide, particularly in the health and education sectors. The most recent example is our involvement in the “Gala of Hearts” fundraising gala, which took place in Düsseldorf on November 18, 2023.

Numerous guests were invited by the Gerard Asamoah Foundation to the former “Dr. Thompson’s” soap factory – including the Federal Minister of Justice Dr. Marco Buschmann as patron of the foundation – to enjoy a varied program together, but above all to collect urgently needed donations for the operation of children with heart disease. A look at the recent past shows just how important the initiative of the former national soccer player is, which was held for the sixth time this year. The proceeds from last year’s fundraising gala helped to provide six children from Ghana with vital operations, operations that would not have been possible without these funds.

Touching success stories that are likely to be repeated next year. This year, the guests donated a new record sum of 235,000 euros. XSTAFF alone donated 15,000 euros, with a further 45,000 euros coming from the investment companies of XSTAFF founder Bodo Knop. Above all, the traditional raffle proved (once again) to be a big hit: works of art by Leon Löwentraut from his limited edition “Mona”, VIP tickets for a sold-out Tayler Swift concert in Cologne and autographed jerseys from national team players Leroy Sane, Erling Harland and Harry Kane changed hands for five-figure sums. Financial resources that directly and immediately benefit children with heart disease worldwide. On the evening of the event, a team of twenty doctors from Germany landed in Ghana to perform 20 cardiac operations in the last week alone.
